Hutton's just scored a peach for Spurs, but they're still struggling (again) post-Champions League

Now Bolton 3 Spurs 1

Owny Coyle working his magic!

I remember the hibs.net consensus about his move there was that it was a big mistake and that he lacked ambition.

Any idea what the biggest win was before the SPL? I know of a couple 10 goal wins, one for us (11-1 v Hamilton) and one against (0-10 v Rangers).

Aberdeen fans must regret the day they called for Jimmy Calderwood to be sacked and replaced with Mark McFud.

They never learn, it happened before when they shouted from the rooftops to get Alex Smith sacked and replaced with Willie Miller, history repeating itself.

Most managers won't get sacked after a defeat at Ibrox or Parkhead but, given Aberdeen's recent results, I think this result will mark the end for Mark McGhee.

I fully expect him to be sacked on Monday morning.

Was always on the cards.

Thats what teams that win things do. They play poorly but somehow grind out a result. Theres no such thing as glorious failure at clubs like United, Chelsea, Barca, Madrid etc.

He's got them playing some nice stuff. They were good to watch against us and really unlucky not to win. Maybe's he's just being allowed to do his job there

Alternatively managing a club rather than a club that obviously meant so much to him is so much less pressure. Hughes might have been in the same boat.
By the way are you saying he wasnt allowed to do his job at Hibs?

would agree with that, expectations cant be all that high at rugby park surely, a top six finish would be excellent for them

All i'm saying is perhaps his current chairman doesn't have as much influence in the dressing room. An Aberdeen fan on the radio just called for either Mixu or Hughes to replace Mcgoo!

May just be the fans? I see Gow who also wouldn't have got much leeway here has also found a welcoming new home and performing well.

Could be. We slag Aberdeen for being deluded but our fans have a bit to answer for too. I wouldn't like to have played in the recent atmosphere at ER. You could see players hiding not wanting to make a mistake
