Tbh I think he's overrated, but that's just my opinion.

I don't, he is a trumpet of the highest order, but theres no one in Scottish football can match his ability between the sticks, Craig Gordon included. IMO of course.

got to be worth more than 5million, in the land of old firm values (£9m for Hutton) he is surely worth at least that.

FWIW i think hes an excellent goalie, bawbag right enough but an excellent goalie..

Both him and Gordon are fantastic shot stoppers, but I think Gordon can take a cross ball better.

:agree:

I think a bit of perspective is lost regards Gordon. Being a Jambo doesn't help but not playing through injury for numerous extended periods he drops off the radar a bit compared to McGregor.

McGregor is a very good goalie but I feel that Gordon if fit and playing regularly is technically marginally better. It's unfortunate for Gordon and Scotland that he hasn't been fit.

Both gordon and mcgregor have one thing in common, they'll happily cheat to get someone sent off.

Convinced he'd do a Leighton if he went to Man U.

I agree, however if he is let go of for £5m the Hun support will feel they've been ripped off and I would quite like that

Given that Sunderland paid £9m for Gordon, I'd have thought they'd want that sort of figure.

If the guy had a single braincell then he would go to united. As it is I'm not sure he does so could see him staying put.

He's a hun cheating *******.

I agree with that but McG's distribution is better.

Mind when we had great keepers :boo hoo:

And they're both boyhood Hearts fans.

Craig Gordon is a better goalkeeeper than McGregor. McGregor is a talented keeper but i'd pick Gordon every day of the week.

It's a bit like the old Goram v Leighton situation- Leighton was a very talented keeper but if you had to choose based on ability you would have to go for Goram.

If McGregor gets the chance to go to Man Utd he shouldn't even have to think about it. A chance to go to one of the biggest clubs in the world (and contrary to what the Daily Ranger says he isn't at one at the moment, a chance to escape the goldfish bowl that is Scottish football and a chance to earn silly money for a few years of his career. It's the proverbial no brainer.

Gordon's a million miles away from being considered great. He's got one medal to his name, and has hardly played in something like 2 years.

He's a plooky lesbian, that's what he is.
