Is it some sort of cup game against a bigger team, or are ESPN really scraping the barrel??

The atmosphere is unreal, would be fantastic to be there. Screamer for United second.

Flares, bit invasions, if they win this there will be some invasion. The camera in the gantry was shaking with the celebrations. Wild.

Hope they hold on.

First time I've heard Anarchy In The UK as a footie chant. Class, well done to all.

Just read a bit about them and noticed that Glynn Hurst who played for Ayr when we were in the first Division plays for them. He was a fast wee striker who always played well against us and I thought we might've gone for him at one point. Good player and nice to see him still involved in the game.

Man Utd fans have changed "Argentina" for years as a wind-up to opposition fans who support England - FC actually chanted "M-argentina" in reference to manager Karl Marginson.

FC's first ever game was against Leigh RMI so I can truthfully say that I was there on the day that it all began (and even wrote the match report) (http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/main/s195/st77254.htm). I've got a few mates who are in their army of volunteers and help out with the club offices, radio channel etc and have been there since the start after years of following Big United home and away and then cutting all ties in 2005 with the takeover.

Have always despised MUFC, but I have a grudging respect for FC and wish them all the best - their fans are certainly some of the loudest I've ever come across, either when they've been playing Leigh or whenever I've gone along to Gigg as a neutral.

Soooperb.

I'd like them to sing to the same tune on Sunday

:singing: You're ugly and fat
You're ugly and fat
You're Romanov's puppet
You're ugly and fat :singing:

Jim can you fix it for me?

Seen from behind the goal, the United player kicks the ball out of the keeper's hands, shouldn't have counted.

:agree: seen Boston Utd beat them 4 - 0 last season but they sang and danced beginning to end, big crowd and easily the best away fans I had seen in a while.

Did they sing traditional Man Utd songs (Ooh Ahh Cantona ect) or was it their own songbook?

I saw a report saying they have given up totally on Man U while the Glazers are there so doubt it, but i never saw it and Canatona was their legend so maybe they did.
