If the players ever needed to know what Hibernian Football Club is about and how much the club and these derbies mean to us then they should be sat down at made to watch 'The team that was' (you tube in 3 parts)

If our fans think we are in a bad situation now just have another watch and thank our lucky stars for the likes of Tom Farmer, Murdo MacLeod, John Burridge, the people on and off the pitch that stopped us from going under and helped us pick up silverware!

Still tingles my spine watching!! and after watching it, try tell me you weren't heading Keith Wrights goal against Rangers in the Skol Cup semi final!!

Spot on goofter! :agree: Watching this never fails to bring a tear to my eye. It's not just the players that would benefit from watching it though. I'm thinking of those fans who plan to watch Sunday's game in the pub. NOT the ones who can't afford it or have other commitments - but the fans who just can't be *rsed or who fear we might get gubbed by that excuse for a fitba team.
Think back to that dark, dark time folks (those that are old enough) and how we fought like hell to keep the Club in existence, then get yerselves down to Easter Road and snap up those remaining tickets. Let's roar the boys on on Sunday ... you know it makes sense. :thumbsup:
