Anyone know anywhere? Either city centre or closer to Anfield?

The best bet is the Sports Cafe in Stanley Street in the city centre. it's Jamie Carragher's pub and it has lots of screens showing lots of different fitba. Not all pubs will be showing the game so that is likely to be the best option. can ask at the bar if they will put it on anyway; they're pretty good.

We go to Liverpool every year,and watch the football in the CROCODILE bar,about 5mins from Matthew street.
Staff are good and always put on the games for us,they have about 4/5 TVs in the bar.
