It just shows the lack of thought that the SFA put into anything they do. Common sense says give him a few weeks of low profile games but instead they throw him into a game where there is the potential for more controversy. From an employers point of view it is a poor decision.

It would appear that the SFA were delighted enought with his most recent derby performane and have rewarded him with the first Edinburgh derby of the season.
I cannot recall a referee ever getting the two big derbies only a few weeks apart.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire. I don't know if this is a good thing or not? Only time will tell.

One thing I've always wondered.. How come there's only ONE Team in Derby?

This could go either way here.
He will either be in the "**** off hearts who do you think you are calling bias" and give them nothing camp.
He may however fold like a cheap tent and give us nothing as he ****s himself from the weight of pressure from a really big club.

Did he not miss at least 2 red card offenses (Stokes & Samaras) and award a non-penalty? I'm not saying he showed any bias, he was just crap.

IMO if he'd sent any of OUR players off for either of those offences we'd have a 12-page thread on here to the effect that "that was never a red card" and telling the world what a crap referee he is.
He didn't make a mess of the game, IMO.
