Loved his role as the villian in Brookside.

He was good in that role :agree:

He was a laugh as 'Bunny' in Extras as well.

Rest In Peace.

Just heard this on the radio - Grant Stott gave the warmest tribute and summary of his good friend.:boo hoo:

A sad loss indeed :boo hoo:

Probably most recognised for City Lights but I saw him in a couple of more 'serious' plays/films and he was a good actor.

Did Grant Stott not work with Kelly in panto?

He did - saw them together at the Kings at least once. It was the two of them and Allan Stewart, then Andy Gray seemed to replace Kelly for a few years.

a sad sad day in the acting industry:boo hoo:

i met and worked with him a few times when in the lyceum youth theatre and was such a gentleman, he could make the smallest joke go on for hours, my jaws were aching at the end of the night!

Willie Melvin was a great role. Good support as well from Jonathan Watson etc.
I suppose it would be a bit dated now.
