I'm not convinced the show is as slick as it could be, but I decided to have a wee go at it online tonight.

Even though I'm using virtual money, it really messes with your mind when you have to decide what to bet on.

Has anyone else tried it?

Saw thirty minutes or so of it last night, two Irish guys then a couple - marketing types from London (guy was very cocky), first I'd seen of it. It's not slick, you're right.

Easy to imagine how pressured it would be if you were in it.

Do you get to move your money back and forth online, right until the last second?

Yes. You get a bit less time than on TV, but it's the same questions and you can hedge your bets just the same.

I lost my last £275000 on the last question.

Which screened in the UK first - X Factor or Strictly Come Dancing?

Unfortunately, there isn't enough time to Google the answers!

I'll hold you to that.

Very generous of you. I'd have thought you would want to win some cash before treating me not just for getting on TV, but have it your way!

SCD has been on the telly for decades, it just comes in and out of fashion. Going to give this game a go.

Davina McCall is a tube.

Is this on permanent now? I saw the first one a couple of months ago and said to the missus I would besurprised if it didn't come back permanently. My biggest problem would still be soaps and films and pop music!!! general knowledge, nae problem, bring it on. TV and music, forget it. Music died with Bolan.

SCD started in May 2004.

X Factor started in 2004 too, but September.

Davina McCall is a tube.

she's very good at live telly though, can't imagine how difficult that must be and she rarely fluffs a line.

I actually like the format of the game, but feel the padding and razamatazz really spoil the show. If they just ran it like an old fashioned quiz I reckon it would be a lot more entertaining.
