A couple of points on Bilderberg;
- the make-up of attendees changes every year - few individuals attend more than a couple of times.
- the names of attendees, the date, the location and the topics discussed are published and pretty easy to find online. If it was a secret cabal its pretty fluid and public.

Personally, I see the opportunity for powerful world figures to discuss things openly and without fear of misquote in the press as a good thing. Open and frank is surely better than guarded as mistrusting?

I'm not sure about new world order but the controversial idea of 9/11 being an inside job has a lot of evidence behind it. Have watched quite a few videos about the details from all view points and there is at least something to be taken seriously in it.

Not sure about new world order but if you do fully believe in it, it can be applied to anything which happens in the US and change your whole view on any piece of news you hear - scary!

Precisely - and its why conspiracy theorists find it hard to look at anything rationally. Everything is a cover-up. Everything is the result of secret cabals. People begin to find it impossible to distinguish between the X-Files and reality, between Hollywood escapism and what actually happens.

As for 9/11, there are many different conspiracy theories, all relying on their adherents to watch "with an open mind" their videos, blogs or books. "An open mind" in this instance means taking a deep misunderstanding of science, a selective sifting of quotes and circumstances and stating them as incontrovertible truth.

I remember the time my friends and I had a huge secret that I absolutely did NOT want getting out. We had this little group we called "The Wolfpack" and we went around robbing a whole bunch of people one summer. Anyway, since we didn't want anyone knowing who we were, we went around creating elaborate crop circles of Wolves in the fields near our house. It worked wonders and nobody ever found out; I've always attributed the success of the secret to those crop circles because it makes sense to give people clues and stuff if u want to keep a secret. think about it........It's just a daft, sarcastic post, but it makes a valid point. If this was a secret organisation, why oh why would they be displaying all these apparent 'clues' to the pubic?
