I noticed that. So assuming St Mirren had say 500 that's way down on even the averages last season when they were rank. Not a lot of extra pennies coming in every fortnight then....

....next we will be hearing about cash only merchandise sales and wages delay....whoops.

Are we in a position to mock that lot at the minute? I think the derby attendance will say a lot about the current situation. I'd love it to be a sell-out but I think too many people will duck out and watch it on the box instead - let's hope those that do turn up are rewarded with at least a positive performance.

Would we get that crowd against St Mirren in our current state?

:agree:

And that will include all the bargain basement bonanza prices; the tickets sold in Poundland; the "2 for 1's"; the deal of the day; the deal of the week; the deal of the month etc etc etc etc.

Kilmarnock last week wasn't far away from that figure and we've been so bad we sacked the manager.

With the Hearts game to come I think we'll be averaging above Hearts soon with them doing well and us not.

I don't think we've seen the desertion of the support that many have been anticipating.

Plus, everyone got what they wanted with Hughes going so we should see people supporting the club?

It boils down to what happens on the park as we all know.

All attendances are down given the current economic situation and the poor quality on the pitch in the SPL.

Still a poor attendance at Tiny though. The derby crowd will be lucky to reach 15,000 given the ticket prices, the game being on TV and our poor form.

I noticed that the attendance at Pittodrie was less than 8,000. How long before our crowds drop to that level again? Scottish football is certainly going through a tough period.
