Whose been knocked out before?!

I was ko'd up town last night, first time it's happened. It's strange cos you don't realise it's happened when you wake up!

Got a sore jaw and the back of my head is sore from the crash landing.

Probably more chance of a response on Kickback!

Lay off the drink a bit and you'd have seen it coming:duck: and maybe knocked her out.

Don't know what it says about me but I've been knocked out a few times :bitchy:. Worst is when you wake up in the ambulance and you don't have a clue how you got there or what's going on.
Still, hope you ok.

Hope you've had yourself checked over mate. Head injuries should be taken very seriously.

Anyway, the obvious question has to be asked - "who started it"?

As Filled Rolls said I would get it checked out just in case....especially if you are still getting headaches in a few days time.

I've been out cold and you're right, you don't realise it has happened.
One time I was that drunk I couldn't walk properly and I felt myself falling over, so I sped up to try and correct myself. I ended up running and falling face first into a two foot high wall.
At the time it's as if I just got up and was a bit sore but the guy who was with me said I was out cold for at least a minute. He was that pissed he didn't even think about calling an ambulance.
The next morning my face was a mess, I could hardy walk due to smashing my knee(which is still ****ed four years on) and my head was splitting. I didn't get anything checked out because I just put it down to concussion...and I was a little bit embarrased.
I was later on told that it was the stupidest thing in the world not getting the head checked out because you just don't know what you've done to yourself, especially if you've been knocked out. It can't do any harm.

Do you know how long you were out for Woody? Please tell me you have been to A&E?

I was knocked out after a major bike accident in 1998. Woke up a few hours later in Perth RI intensive care. Very scary. Worse for the wife and family though, I knew nothing about it and still can't remember.

If you haven't been to the hospital I'd take advice from here and go. I'm no expert but I do watch Corrie. Head injury can cause serious delayed reaction. Better safe than sorry mate.

Was that you? Sorry mate if I'd known I'd have gone easy on you.

I was checked out at the scene, I woke up in the ambulance and was apparently out for over 5 minutes. They wanted me to go to hospital but I didn't want to.

I went back to my mates and continued drinking like an idiot. I woke up with a sore shoulder where I must have landed and took the impact from my head. My head was sore where it must have hit the ground but that was it. Pride's hurt more than most because it was me being the arse. :greengrin

A friend of mine took a doing from a bouncer in fife, he was knocked out and went home once he came round. After a night to sleep it off he felt bad the next day and by that evening was in a coma! He now has problems with feeling in his legs and has memory issues. He was out of action for months, in hospital for most of that time, too.

I was knocked out in a boxing match a couple of years ago.

Was miles ahead going into the last round and rather than do the sensible thing and box of the back foot i decided to stand toe to toe as this man mountain threw everything he had at me. No idea what happened but apparently a quick jab snapped my head back and the right hand that followed sent me into a spectacular looking fall.

When i woke up i asked my trainer in all seriousness 'Who won the fight?', to which his reply was 'If you have to ask i don't think it was you.'

Had a beast of a headache for about 3 days afterwards and had to go to the hospital for a check up just to be on the safe side, not the most pleasant experience ever.
