Ghost Tours

Has anyone done one of the ghost tours? Are they any good? A couple of us are thinking about going for Halloween. I'd prefer going into the vaults and hearing semi-historical scary stories rather than the tours that hire actors to jump out.

I went on one a while back and really enjoyed it. Think the Mary Kings Close one is meant to be the best.

There are a couple of websites about them and you can book online. My 8 year old and his dad are booked on one on the Sat night at Halloween but because of his age, or probably more to the point because his dad wouldn't do a really scary one, they are on the one with the 'jumper ooters' to keep it a bit light. He is obsessed with ghosts and ghost hunting. He said if this one is fine he wants to go to the vaults and get a something or other meter to try and find a ghost - that will be when he is 18 as neither me nor his dad will take him on that one.
