NUFC

...makes sense, good talent on the books, not likely to get a game at Newcastle who are back in the megarich ranks again.

Hughton and CC very good friends, loan deals around in the January window I'd say. May be one of Yogi's downfall elements...failing to get some good young blood in.

The youth team at NUFC loaded with promising talent that would shine up here. I'd take shane ferguson on loan right away.

Would seem a logical step, just as long as they are better than Alan O'Brien.

There is already an informal arrangement of sorts....

We would need to sign Kevin Nolan as well then since Carroll has been ordered to stay at his house by a judge, as part of his bail conditions.

Correct.
There have been a number of "closed doors" matches played , over the past months, with various NUFC teams at E M's and at Tyneside

Really hope Hibs do start to get in a couple of younger players from EPL teams, said it for a long time now that we haven't done this enough.

We're never going to have enough quality in the squad with the finances we have, so having a couple of players that add quality that we know are short-term, is still a great thing IMO, even if it's half season loans.

Blackman at 'well looks the part for example.

Looking forward to a new face or two in Jan!

Are you inferring that hearts always go after people with dubious behavior.. like it is associated with their fans (http://www.itv.com/sport/football/news/generalnews/levein-defends-scotland-policy-360010676.html), their players (http://www.itv.com/sport/football/news/generalnews/levein-defends-scotland-policy-360010676.html)their ex managers (http://www.itv.com/sport/football/news/generalnews/levein-defends-scotland-policy-360010676.html) ?

No I think you are reading too much in to his post, it's not like hearts have ever employed registered sex offenders as a manager, or indeed had active sex offenders as players. Nor have they ever had fans who ripped off charities setup by the fans so they could wine and dine there little lady friends is it!!!!!

Can't believe anyone would draw that conclusion about HMFC, who are clearly one of the worlds most respected footballing institutions:rolleyes:

As long as it brings more than our official link up with Chelsea a few years back!

But yeah, it would make sense. You could imagine the damage a young Andy Carroll would have done up here 2/3 years ago. On the pitch, I mean.
