View Full Version : Dominos, Two for Tuesdays!

As the footie is on tonight, and I'd spent all day trying to solve cubic non-linear equations in the office (my brain is stewed), I decided I'd order pizza as a way to chill out. Dominos do a "2-for-Tuesday" offer, whereby you buy one and get one free every Tuesday.
It was only me, but I decided a cold pizza in the fridge would be awesome for lunch/dinner tomorrow. I ordered a 2x mediums, at a cost of £12.99.
When the woman arrived at the door to deliver them, she told me that they had run out of medium bases, as they've been swamped with orders (football, students...), so they had given me 2 large pizzas with no additional charge!
Brilliant!

They're a pain in the arse is what they are and an excuse to have Dominos!
I use them as an algorithm to run a model - in essence, it processes data to get different data out, when specific parameters are then added in. It gives me data to continue my research into something which actually means anything! :greengrin

Sizzler and an Americano
Don't usually use Dominos, so was pleasantly surprised by my pretty random choices!

For anyone in the musselburgh vicinity, Caprice also do two for tuesdays on medium pizzas. Far better than dominoes and are cooked in a log fired oven
