This is fantastic, pop-pickers. (http://www.edinburghgigarchive.com/index.htm)

I've been to hundreds of gigs and I've only started searching, but so far, some of my highlights include;

Mud in 1974 at the Odeon :greengrin

1977 7th May The Clash, support bands The Jam, The Buzzcocks, The Slits, The Prefects, and Subway Sect at the Playhouse

And, I was backstage on 29 October 1980 when the Jam headlined. My brother's band "The Questions" were support and I roadied for them!

This site is awesome!

Great site. The ticket stubs themselves are a sight to behold :greengrin

Nice to hear a mention of The Questions: they were on the bill of the first ever gig I went to; Marryat Hall Dundee, early 1983, on Weller's Respond label tour which also featured Tracie and had the late Vaughn Toulouse DJ'ing. Bought a couple of The Questions' 7"-s on the back of that gig IIRC.

Of Department S fame, is Vic there?
