Ouch! :boo hoo:

First rule of a big win, never stick it back on even if you think it is a sure thing.

Have had a few wins of around £100.

Put on a ridiculous £3 coupon, Annan Athletic let me down - for about four grand.

Wait for HibeeMcGinn's post in this thread. Jammiest **** there is when it comes to the bookies! :agree:

Superb, 3m from 8 results.... 8 games ending in 2-2 results is some bet, well deserves the money for predicting such scores in games....

I won a grand in the space of 3 days- a random Thursday night european coupon was lookin down and out, 5 teams up and waiting on Athletic Bilboa who were a late kick off, i had put them on not realising that fact as i never normally put on a later kick off just incase they do me! That looked like how it was going, i checked it late on and they were 2-1 down with ten to go! It wasn't on tv so the only place had to check was live score. Long story short they scored TWO injury time goals to win me 600 notes! I put 20 of that on 5 bankers on the saturday and got 400 back! Paid for the bairns buggy and a night out for me and the missus who was early stages of pregnancy at the time! I haven't even had a one pound bet since last season! For no other reason than my internet account can't read my new bank details and i need to contact the bank to sort it which can't be ersed with! Might have a punt on 4-0 Spain on tuesday.

Individual bet about £200-£300. EG nice wee first goalscorer £5 EW double couple of weeks ago with Fabregas and Berbatov.

In one day about £600 from two bets [in the hospitality at ER v Celtic and bookies for a Hibs, Rangers and Man U treble].

In a season, about £800 for the season with doing first goalscorer EW patents throughout the season, just choosing the likes of Drogba etc each week.

Fair play to the boy, 8 x 2-2 ain't the easiest is it? :agree:

I was at one point about £14500 up through gambling at the bookies, in casinos, fruit machines etc etc. Ended up about £5500 down.

My biggest individual win was about £4000 playing blackjack at the casino and my biggest win at the bookies was about £1200 on a 9 team £5 accumulator. My biggest loss was about £3500 in the casino and about £500 at the bookies but these losses were far more consistent than the wins.

I'm sure theres a lesson about quitting while you're ahead to be learned.

I was wondering which bookies it was with as doubt any have limits that high. Turns out it was The Pools, mighty fine effort though hes probably backed the same no's every week!
