You know it makes sense.

Not necessarily in a managerial role, but more as a coaching/assistant/motivator role - get Franck Sauzee into the Hibs dugout. Surely he'd be able to inspire some of the current crop to up their game. :sauzee:

:agree::agree:

Also used to have a very nice sideline in doing the co-commentating voiceover for FIFA games in French. Don't know if that remains the case.

Can't see him leaving that tidy setup for a role on the Hibs bench, if the OP was serious.

Some key criteria... (http://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?194162-Essential-requirements-for-the-new-manager&p=2597398&highlight=#post2597398)

A few lessons learned perhaps?

We need to get this appointment right. Let's not be back in this situation in another year and a half please.

We need a manager who

- isn't an ex-player...

He is probably sitting in his house laughing his nuts off at how Hibs are still the same joke set up that they have been for a long time. Maybe him, Mix, and Yogi are on facebook having a good old laugh between themselves!

Another manager that was given 15 mins and thrown out the door. Dont ever remember hearing of him coming back to ER, probably a reflection of how he feels he was treated in the end. Probably an indication as to how likely it is for him to come back to have anything to do with the managerial setup.

Done that a couple of times during the McLeish years. 6-2 should have been 3-4 more if not for some of his stops.

Also who remembers Lehman's 'chest control' that night:greengrin

:hmmm:

I believe he has a well paid job in the French media. Might be a bit hard to get him back.

I loved Franck especially that raker he scored at ***********. What a night that was, eh? He hated Hearts with a passion.

Are you still here? If you want to hang about, Yam, you have to at least say something positive about Hibs now and again. As it is, you're just giving the game away too easily.

Get a life. A play on words. I have no issue with you calling me a yam, none at all, for the simple reason I was borne and raised Hibs. So feel free to call away.

My comment does of course stand - he will be laughing twice as hard at people like you though!

If the guy is a yam or not, he has at least one point correct. There is no way Franck will be back near Hibs after the treatment he got from the board. He also was going to do some scouting for Mixu, I believe and then Mixu was dumped within a relatively short period and now Yogi. Franck I have no doubt still has fond memories of the club and fans, but I would bet feels less warmly toward Rod and Co.

Personally I would love to see this rift healed, but it might take something like a euro night v Marseilles or similar to bring him back.
