Where is he just now? I would assume Brum as Eck's No2?

Your no1 is a lifelong no2 I'm afraid. There are certain guys in football who are best employed as assistant managers and I'd wager that if you asked them all the vast majority would tell you they've no interest in being the manager.
Oh aye, can I add that Watson would be around 786th on my list of erm 786 :greengrin

Really? Number one? He's an assistant at best, never tried as a manager and if he ever wanted to I'm sure he'd have moved into management by now. No. Just no.

Yes. He's always been Ecks number two, and always will be I'm willing to guess.

Perennial no. 2 Watson can right off!
I'm pretty certain he could have had the Hibs job on McLeish's departure but was happy to follow follow along the M8 to be Eck's no. 2 at Greyskull.
Shows his level of ambition when it comes to being his own man IMO.

ha ha nice one.....i think he would be tactically savvy and was part of the hibs set up, admittedly a few years back, but would be no worse than the best on that list.
dont drink at 7am........yet, may start if we are in relegation trouble

TBF it's the same with most assistants, it's what they like doing. Fair enough, really.
