Has done an excellent job at Inverness, would you take him at ER?

Is excellent getting them relegated and managing to squeeze back up with a full time squad?

Rather than Craig Brown or some of the other names being mentioned.

Minds me a bit of Yogi in a way so probably not!

I'd take Craig Brown before I'd take Terry Butcher...

Source: Wikipedia....
On 27 January 2009, Butcher was announced as the new manager of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Butcher signed an 18-month contract.[15] Butcher was joined by in Inverness by Maurice Malpas as his assistant manager.
In May 2009, Inverness were relegated from the Scottish Premier League. In November 2009 George Burley was sacked as Scotland manager and at the same time Butcher left by mutual consent.

He's no the man to dig ye oot a mess in a hurry IMHO....

Terry Butcher would get my vote.

He knows the SPL, commands respect, has a half decent record, and would hopefully be strong enough to sort out our rat pack.

I don't see what Butcher has done as a manager that should put him in the forefront of the minds of our board.

He did ok at Motherwell but achieved nothing spectacular but other than that, he hasn't done anything as a manager that makes me really want him as our manager.

He got them relegated.

This is a prime example of why Hibs fans don't and shouldn't have a say in who gets the job. The main candidates on here consist of SPL managers who have won a few of their recent games, SPL managers who have done okay in the last six months and managers who used to play for us.

Let's hope the Board are a little bit more thoughtful.

The Hibs board got the last 3 appointments wrong.
