Davro is part of the line-up at a Celtic charity 'do', I think. But I don't know what the significance or humour is.:dunno:

Well I for one am glad this thread is gathering momentum simply due to the fact I'm bored ****less with most of the others.

It badly needs legs though, anybody uncovered any spurious Davro facts we can related to Hibs? There has to be a Petrie connection somewhere.

His real name is Robert Nankeville. Which is funnier than his act ever was. By far. And he ate Petries hamster. (Ok he didn't......)

Petrie ate Robert's hamster and uses the pelt to enhance his mouser on fancy nights out.

Davro outscores Petrie 10 to 8 on the Scrabble board, or more if you can get the v tile in Davro onto a triple letter square.

The 20 points that Davro would then score wouldn't surpass the 24 that Petrie would accumulate if that was placed on a triple word box.

Near the end of the Comic Relief version of Proclaimers hit, 500 miles, northern club comic Peter Kay shouted out Bobby Davro's name to produce a mildly amusing moment. Which proves even his stage name is funnier than his act ever was.
And I am sure somebody once mentioned that the Proclaimers are Hibs fans. And Rod Petrie likes the Proclaimers. But not Hibs.
