Sunday sees another home match for the Edinburgh Capitals, this time the Newcastle Vipers are up. Good news for students of Edinburgh Uni, Napier Uni and Heriot-Watt Uni: 2 students with matric cards can get in for a fiver with a voucher which I believe was emailed to students from their respective student unions.
Also, good news for Edinburgh Leisure memebers: if you bring your Leisure Card and proof of ID you get in for £10
For everyone else: Adults £15, Concessions £11 (OAP and students with ID), Children £7 or families (2 adults plus 2 children) for £37
Hope to see some Hibs fans there on Sunday!
Face off is 6pm.

Will face off be bang on 6 or is it common for a a slightly later start? Might not arrive until just after 6

I doubt things will all kick off bang on six. You'll have no bother getting a seat of you're late.

Dundee lost 4-2 to the Giants tonight. Belfast played some very nice hockey, and we were perhaps lucky it wasn't more than a 2 score game!
Do they play any games down here like Sheffield or Manchester?

Was there much of a travelling Belfast support? What kind of reaction did the Sheriff get?
Did he do his usual hard man routine which everyone's learnt to ignore now?

Yes, the Sheffield Stealers and Nottingham Panthers also play in the Elite League. Hull, as well.

To be honest, it was hard to gauge the size of the travelling support. We have a LOT of Northern Irish students up in Dundee, as it seems to be a popular alternative to Queens in Belfast. There were certainly quite a lot of people cheering on Belfast, but quite how many had travelled over for the game wasn't clear!
The Sheriff got quite a hostile reception from the Dundee fans actually - he's some bloody size!

I knew it wouldn't take the Dundee fans long to turn on McMorrow, but I didn't think it would be this quick!

Glad you enjoyed it.
I love Hockey fans, they're gracious in defeat (well, Steelers fans apart) and the banter has no edge to it at all. I loved it when they got their newspapers out whenever we scored. Good craic.
