The Commonwealth Games Committee met today and have issued this statement ;

''We are aware of dis-quiet over the location, the risk of disease and infestation, the poor transport system, the poverty aspect and the unreliable workmanship at the Athletes Village, but this Committee can reassure the Commonwealth countries that the 2014 Games in Glasgow will go ahead''
