I think we should get rid of Yogi and go for killie manager. He looks like he has got a team together who know what they are doing and want to play for each other.:greengrin

listening to it on the radio and they said Killie are very enterprising and inventive. this is everything that Hibs are not.

Mixu was unfortunate he had to inherit JC's team of total dross and Petrie's signings Nish & Rankin.
Never backed by the board or by many fans. I wish him all the best.

Yet again, maybe we were too hasty in getting rid of the Manager.

as i said, he was never backed like the clown incharge we have in charge now. Yeh i wanted Mixu as manager and was gutted when he left.
How Hughes has received far more backing from the fans is unbelievable. Maybe he is right for once that 95% of fans haven't got a clue. :duck:

Liverpool are gash.

And have been getting gradually worse for years. This reminds me of an old firm team at home to a bottom 6 side. Most of the time you know the outcome, its just when do the goals come? And imho United are not that special now either, i cant see them winning the league.

Been telling everybody to forget about Liverpool for about three years. In reality, its been a long time since they were ever in the picture and i'll be longer still before they get back into again.

I can also see Man U sinking like a stone once they need to replace Fergie. Not sure how the City adventure will pan out, but I think the future of English football is London, with Chelsea dominating for the next couple of seasons, Arsenal getting stronger mid-term and Spurs long-term.

Agree that Chelsea will roll over everyone - they should wrap it up now, the OF contest is more interesting.

It wasn't a goalscoring oppportunity. There was no way that Torres would have got to that ball, regardless of any foul by O'Shea.

Absolute joke.

I hope you mean the capitulation and not the award of the free kick.

Liverpool deserve to be back in it based on their approach to the second half. Patient, non-panicked and team-linked.

Torres is even starting to look like he's worth 2% of the hype!

Mature response.

Tell me exactly what would O'Shea have been sent off for? I'm guessing that you think it would have been for denying a goalscoring opportunity, if not then please tell me what the sending off offence would have been.

If you think he was guilty of denying a goalscoring opportunity, I totally disagree because as I've said already, even without O'Shea's intervention, I don't believe Torres was getting anywhere near that ball.

As far as I'm concerned, a booking was the correct decision.

The response was akin to the ridiculous lack of balance you have in anything related to Man Utd.

He stopped a goal-scoring opportunity, no question about it. The only reason Torres wasn't catching the ball, was because he was being held from before the point where it arrived at his feet.

I despise both Man Utd and Liverpool in equal measures, so I'd like to think I have a wee bit more balance and neutrality than you.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, I wasn't on here last night so I've only just read this post.

If that incident had happened last year, I might concede that it was possibly a goalscoring opportunity because Torres had lots of pace to burn. His speed was frightening at times. This year, though, he is anything but pacy, by Premiership standards, and I just honestly don't believe that there was any way that Torres was getting on the end of that ball.

I know I'm a Manchester Utd sympathiser but I like to think that the vast amount of the comments I make on each and every subject on here are honest remarks. Sometimes I will make a few comments that are a bit "tongue-in-cheek" but I usually just call it as I see it and that's certainly the case with the Torres/O'Shea incident.

If anything, I probably exaggerate about how much I actually support Manchester Utd on here. I do like them and they are my favourite English team but I would probably say that I detest Liverpool a bit more than I like Manchester Utd.

I really, really, really can't stand them. After Celtic, Rangers and Hearts, I can't think of any other football club that I dislike more than Liverpool.
