Unrealistic Euro expectations?

I've just watched the 1 hour highlights of the first weeks games in the Europa cup group stage on ITV4 and every team bar maybe 2 were much bigger than us. Judging by the, admittedly short, highlights they were all a hell of a lot better than us as well. I know we should aspire to this but are we being self defeating by turning on our team for not qualifying? ie crowd turning on team causes further poor form in the league and so the cycle spirals down.

Well if we win the spot we may aswell give it a bash, no?

Yeah of course. Don't get me wrong would love it to happen, we should be in there fighting for it every season its just seeing the quality in the group stage we shouldn't beat ourselves/team up for it not happening.
