View Full Version : PS3 Yellow Light

PS3 has the YLOD, it flashes when I switch it on the the machine switches itself off. It's the original 60gb version.

Anyone recommend someone that can fix this for me? I know it is fixable but don't fancy trying it myself or paying stupid money when it just needs the heat treatment on the circuitry.

Switch off and leave it to cool down for a couple of hours....

Had it myself and it's all fixed and working again :thumbsup:

Been off for weeks mate, still no joy. Bought a slim as I couldn't handle the withdrawal symptoms but want to fix up the old one and give to someone that can't afford a PS3.

Mine done the same ,switch it on then a few seconds later it switches it's self off, bought a slim also so might perform an autopsy on the fat one
