We're looking to get an AC Milan (7 Pato) shirt for a friends birthday. Looks like £60 for a printed one via Subside, Kitbag etc. It can be bought for £35 from Sports Direct, but then printing costs need factored in.

Does this ebay seller and product appear legitimate enough http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AC-MILAN-HOME-SHIRT-2010-BNWT-ALL-SIZES-SHORT-SLEEVES-/260656606133?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Football_Football Shirts&hash=item3cb0582bb5#ht_2147wt_1137.

Feedback is pretty awesome, except from one which labels the shirt a fake. There is a no hassle returns policy as well, providing a safety net.

Anyone got experience with ebay for this sort of thing?

If it seems to good to be true it probably is a fake imo

If you can only get them in M and XL then they're fakes from Thailand but impeccable quality, nobody will ever know the difference.

I think forgers steer clear of using Adidas logos and the three stripes. It could be real.

'Fake' but quality fakes, all the tags, logo's etc, I've even heard they are made with the official material and sometimes in the same factories as the originals, its just Nike and Adidas don't know about it

I can't view ebay at work so this may not be relevant... There was a section in one of the papers the other day that sports direct or soccer sport, I think the former, were selling the cheaper versions designed for the Italian market.

As the Itialians tend to buy cheap replicas they create an authentic match day strip, like we'd get, and a cheap no frills version to capture some market back from the fake sellers.

One thing I'm aware of with overseas e-bay sellers is that the goods can be authentic but they're made for different average body shapes etc i.e. if you buy a medium from the UK it is different from someone in say the middle east despite both being the same brand. I've bought a couple of Nike tops for football training that don't always hang right but are good enough for training / jogging.

Quality, cheers for that - been looking for somewhere ever since FootballKits4U or whatever it was shut down.

Edit - didn't realise the top link was Bestway4you with a different address, get in.

Has anyone used either of these before?

Wouldn't mind getting a couple but don't want to risk my credit card on it. The balance is almost maxed out anyway so they wouldn't get much if they were dodgy. :greengrin

Cheers for the advice everyone. May just end up buying from a reputable retailer! I see JJB are advertising a deal online for free printing, hopefully applies to all the shirts, may get inter away (ETO 9) for my friend in that case.

I used the top one last year for a Scotland & Nigeria top and it arrived within a couple of weeks. Excellent quality, though the sizes aren't great.

What size did you get? Was it larger or smaller than a UK version. It night help deciding which size to go for.

I'm a 42'' chest and went for XL that says 46'' chest. Fits fine m8. First time round I went for a medium, it did fit but done nothing for my guy and man boobs :greengrin

Cheers.

Just trying to figure out if they are larger or smaller.

I'm somewhere between a medium and large so was hoping that the mediums were slightly bigger as there's no large. Usually my large tops shrink a wee bit in the wash so they're fine. :greengrin
