On a serious note..have any of the other players ever taken pens for previous clubs as with Riordan missing the last three he has taken.......

My personal vote would be for Miller to take the next one.

Riordan won the penalty, so probably had a fair shout at taking it today. But there isn't really anyone else in the squad I'd feel confident about scoring a penalty, Liam Miller is probably our best shot tbh.

Kinda puts a dent into Yogi's claim that we have goals in the team, when there isn't really anyone we'd bank on scoring from 12 yards with just a goalkeeper to beat. :rolleyes:

The amount of points we have lost through Riordan penalties is quite a lot. Yogi should get the players to take 50 each. However scores the most will take them. A professional footballer should be able to score from a 12 yard dead ball 9/10 time at least!

Nish for me. He used to take them at Killie, other than that maybe Miller - but lets be honest after that we are struggling and that is poor!

McBride - I would not have thought so.

Deek - From 20/25 yards no problem, the spot? I just dont understand, in saying that it was above 6 inches away from being the perfect pen!

I don't know why but I think Wotherspoon would be decent from the spot.

Based on recent performances that would be the only place he would be good from! Only kidding that is perhaps a little harsh. Think it would be far to much pressure for him.

Perhaps we should stop playing in the box and look for fouls 20 yards from goal that way Deek would probably stick every one of them away!

mcbride score 6 or 7 pen with motherwell, he's never missed any, he was captain yesterday aswel, would have liked to seen him take it:thumbsup:
