Today marks another anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in modern times.
It's incredible to think that it was nine years ago. Although the years keep going by, it seems like only yesterday that I was watching that horrifying footage unfold on TV. I remember coming home from school (I was in 2nd year at high school at the time) and hearing all about the World Trade Centre, Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden. I hadn't heard of any of them before that day.
I still find it extremely distressing to watch the videos of the planes hitting the buildings and also seeing people jumping out of the buildings because the only choice they had was either jumping to their death or burning alive. I even find it difficult to watch documentaries that are related to the events on that day.
It's hard to comprehend the hatred and evil that came to the USA that day and I can only hope and pray that nothing like this ever happens again.
