I expect most fans will be, through habit, in the pubs for opening time and knocking the beers back like there's no tomorrow. :agree:

Agreed. Enough is enough. Next thing the cavemen will be advocating is a return to 80's style terracing violence where hurling lumps of jagged concrete at away fans was more or less obligatory. I'll keep my money for the Filmhouse, thank you.

As today's kick off is a throwback to the 'old days', I am taking 24 cans of Skol, the beer of champions, to the game in a Co-op bag. Just give me a shout and I'll pass a can to you if you want.

Sounds good. Poisoning my mind with alcohol will give me an edge in chaos perpetration, and provide a fairly decent excuse when hauled up before the magistrates on Monday.

Once there, I expect nothing less than complete exoneration, and a hefty compensation for wrongful arrest, AND my picture in the Evening News with my mouth wide open and my palms twisted outwards in pathetic 'WTF' expression, with the headline: WRONGFULLY ARRESTED CITY MAN SEEKS COMPENSATION.

Getting excited about this 'game' now.
