What are all the other words they, the Yanks, don’t get quite right?

I know of loads buts that’s the one I learned today.

So with a closing date of a few days time [depending just how busy I am over the next few days], which forum can come up with the most examples of where the good ol’ USofA get their words wrong?

BTW: Select small to medium-size specimens that are firm, full and plump with shiny skin. They will be more tender, have a creamier texture and fewer seeds than very large ones. Avoid soft spots and blemishes, though a slightly scraped or scratched skin is fine.

Yesterdays challenge has the Bounce currently in the lead. :cool2:

I don't want to be argumentative (well, actually, I do) but you're completely wrong here.

It's a zucchini if you're in Italy. It's a courgette if you're in France.

IT'S A ZUCCHINI.

I HAVE SPOKE.

Are YOU gonnae tell the folks in Valvona & Crolla that they're wrong?

Slightly off topic but the phrase " The bees knees" comes from an American Italians pronounciation of business.
" Hey Francesco it's the business"
