I thought this (http://www.austriantimes.at/news/Around_the_World/2010-09-07/26609/Subs_play_a_Blinder) was an interesting idea for filling the stadium for smaller games, like ICT on Saturday.

Whaddaya all think?

i hate being the wee team! its just a tragedy having to live in their shadows day after day, i wake up feeling distraught at how miniscule we are compared to the giant european force of homofc :boo hoo:

To any visiting Yams,

that's the reaction you want to see regarding any point seeing as you care about this more than your own club, feel free to return to the crumbling waste pit with your brother/uncle/father/cousin (that's one person, not the family) with a smile on your face :bye:

edit - i'm not calling the OP a yam, i know that's not true, i'm just leaving a heartfelt message

If they are so cash strapped then they could have saved themselves the costs of the blinds.

Rubbish idea. I remember Arsenal doing something like that during modernisation of one of the stands at Highbury. In fact I think they had to re-do it due to complaints received that none of the fans had black faces.

Well it's still not been fixed.

The Arsenal mural came right into my head as soon as I read the post. What used to make me laugh was that the faces moved around about as much as the 'real' faces in the main stand. not much jumping around at the old Highbury stadium.

Did they not do something similar at Murrayfield for a while?

Can't remember the details but I think they had recorded cheering too

Seriously though..........,

Blackburn Rovers are charging £10 for adults and £5 for kids for entry to the League game V Fulham next week. It is almost completely sold out already.

I suppose that Rod would have a coronary just contemplating doing this at ER....,

Put me down for plus one. My mate Lee used to work Saturdays but he's had a wee accident and is on the sick so he'll be free to get back to ER for the next few months. "My knee's a bit sore but it would take a shotgun to the head to keep me out the East."
