Ok, given the criticism of the Scotland team selection, who would you pick and why (assuming all fit)? I think we need more creativity and would base my team around players who play on a regular basis. So:

Gordon / McGregor

Hutton Berra Caldwell Whittaker

S.Fletcher D.Fletcher K.Thomson C.Adam Riordan

Miller / GOC

Basically 4-3-3 when attacking, 4-5-1 when defending.
No place for the midfielder formerly known as Scott Brown because he hasn't done it at international or club level for a while and I'm a bit iffy about calamity Clangwell. Obviously some Hibs content there but a good few have played together at one level or another.

Midfield could easily be shuffled about. 4 in defence isn't an option as the full back have no positional sense (playing Weir behind Hutton last night :rolleyes:). Imagine David Villa last night! Right back AWOL and Weir covering two positions :faf:
A fully fit squad would have a good subs bench tho:

Interesting to note that of the seventeen who have so far replied to this post four chose not to answer the question. Of the remaining thirteen who did seven wanted Roirdan in the Scottish team and six did not.

Does this mean that, like Potter, a large percentage of the Hibs support still think that Riordan does not work hard enough?
