Betty throwing the woman on to a concrete floor face first this office should be sacked.
I bet you his colleagues laughed when they saw him drag the women to the cells but I bet you that are not laughing now.
He is a lucky guy nothing more serious happened because that women lay unconscious for about 1 minute before seeking attention by pressing the button and asking for medical attention.
But we see officers all to often dealing out there own kind of retribution and getting away Scot free and this incident will be no different.

I think the police mostly act like this when faced with the smart ***** who take the piss when they've been lifted. If you ever get lifted then you should keep your mouth shut and they're fine.
A few examples.
There was some bother in a pub we were in one night and everything had settled down and we were talking to the police. My mate being a bit jovial started having a laugh and saying the police guy looked like Neil Lennon (which he did!) and the polis guy got pissed off and celled the lot of us for it. They chucked us in the back of the vans and took them a spin, making sure we were thrown about. We weren't too please with our mate cos we spent a night in the cells for nothing!
The same mate of mine was acting the **** when he got lifted another time. They stormed into his cell in the middle of the night, grabbed him and put him on the floor, stripped him naked and told them they were going to put the truncheon where the sun don't shine. He says he's never took a back seat so much in his life and it taught him a lesson to never do it again (he's been lifted since then as well but hasn't taken the piss).
Another mate of mine was lifted and going a bit daft and they stormed into his cell in the middle of the night, pinned him down on the ground and got the blue mat from the cell, put it over him and beat the crap out of him with the truncheons (the purpose of the mat is that it doesn't show the outline of the truncheon on the bruising (which I have seen before)).
To be honest, every time something has happened to someone I've known in the cells is a result of their own behaviour and I'm pretty certain that the police just don't randomly attack people but do it to show whose boss. Although my mate who was getting beaten managed to bite one of the police officers faces and keep hold of it (the policeman was shouting in his face as he lay on the ground taking a beating). The soon stopped after that cos he managed to keep the guy in the cell and the others cleared out. They had to phone his dad to come to the police station and calm him down and let the officer go so it doesn't always work for them! :faf:

If you go on youtube and watch some of the videos showing police going over the top and there is lots of examples but they only seem to get a slap on the wrist.
It wont be long till we see a policeman caught on Camera killing someone because they overacted to what was a minor incident because they couldn’t be arsed to handle it properly.
I have friends who are police officers and the stories they tell when dealing with situations that involve drink or drugs involved is shocking.
The majority of police do a great job but there are some out there that are worse than the thugs that they arrest day in day out.

I don't think his colleagues laughed at it at all, it was one of his colleagues that did the right thing and reported him.

He was seen on CCTV after the girl was taken from the cells to hospital and during the investagation his colleagues then spilt beans to what they witnessed
let's hope come Tuesday this thug is Locked up

9 times out 10 if you threw someone like that they would not land clean on their face. It was hardly an 'attack'.
However, it was OTT and I guess getting sacked is probably the correct decision. I don't think prison is necessary though.

Where did you read that because every one of the news stories that I've read suggests that the investigation only started after he was reported by a colleague.

if the wifey had the common sense to just do the breathalyser then this would never have happened. this then means she is obviously sittisng bevvied (albeit sleeping) behind the wheel of her car. anyone who even tries to drive their car whilst p!ssed deserves more than a broken nose.

Justice served his career is over in the police force and as his commanding officer said he is a disgrace to the force

:agree:
Anyone who has to lift or restrain people would know that they shouldn't handle them like that. I can forgive the guy for losing it, but to drag her by the arm showed complete contempt.
