We're planning on going for a drive tomorrow, willing to drive up to hour/hour and a half from Edinburgh. Any suggestions on what to do for a day out? Had a look at the "Open Doors" programme for this weekend but nothing really appeals.

Depends what you want but Stirling University Campus is great. A walk round a beautiful loch, great views of the Wallace monument and a couple of nice cafes next door in Bridge of Allan. Not exactly rock and roll but v pleasant in good weather.

Glasgow Tigers v Edinburgh Monarchs in Glasgow 4PM.

Monarchs clinched their 2nd league title in 3 years with an away win at Stoke last night and you could go along and join the big crowd that will travel through to rub it right in the weegie pusses this afternoon..:greengrin
