Once again we punch well above our weight at younger age groups. The question the SFA should be asking is why that has never translated into the full squad over the past 25 years?

I would say that is a good side! As talented a scotland under 21 team as theres been in a long time! Your looking at that team and i would say Wilson, Hanlon Arfield and Bannan will be in the main squad in the next 18 months

......and yet there are many on here who'll tell you that Hanlon shouldn't get a game for Hibs.

Potential to be a very very good centre half/sweeper windy. Never a left back in a million years. Get's drawn into the middle too often and is more often than not wasted for pace with any winger who has a good turn of foot. Hughes will waste him unless he gets to play alongside a quality centre half. Very very good player on our hands if played the right way.

Well said mate.

For some reason there seems to be a school of thought that you're far too be young to be considered for a regular first team place unless you're at least 24 years old (with the odd exception)
