Peter Griffin is great.

The 'surfin bird' episode where he meets Jesus is an absolute classic.

But for me it's got to be Homer.

Have to admit out of the two I find Homer funny while Peter Griffin is just an annoying fat dude now! I like Stan Smith in American dad but fave animated comedy has to be and always will be the excellent South Park!
