I was given a Hibs programme from Jan 1977 recently and as i was reading through it i came across an interesting quote: " A magnificent goal by Ally MacLeod gave Hibs victory over hearts, It was a continuation, of a remarkable run of New Year results because Hibs haven't lost the January game at Tynecastle for 22 years".:thumbsup:

Think it was 3-2 to them after they stopped yoyoing up and down the from the 1st division, but as always they carefully like to air brush this out of their history.

Na..that 3-2 game was in August I think. remember being there and it wasn't cold and wet like it usually is.

Checked that site. If the info is correct, it looks like our next defeat there was on 1/1/86 when we lost 3:1
