cant believe kilmarnock have a signed a player of this calibre!! he signed some absolute duds when he was with us and now he has signed sissoko and this guy along with a couple of young guys on loan! it just shows how petrie was totally unwilling to back him!

Why arent hibs after players like these, seasoned experienced international pros looking to get the back on track? instead we sign duffy from lower leagues, injury prone gow possibly! :( its crazy, hibs must have tons to spend considering how much we have raked in over the years!! :grr:

As well as Duffy we've signed the captain of a Dutch team (we'll see how that goes), an experienced right back with SPL pedigree, an under 21 international defender and a full international defender who has played about 70 times for a team that just pumped Celtic.

Mixu got to sign Riordan, Murray, Nish, Rankin and a few others. He was backed allright.

good signing for killie :agree: obviously mixu's contacts and knowledge of the finnish game has made this deal possible, they've also had a bid rejected for velicka :cool2:

It's a different Sissoko that killie signed not the one that played for Liverpool. I think Duffy will be a no bad signing and think Gow could be a good capture as well.

The sissoko he has signed is a young player on loan, not THE sissoko.

THe sissiko at Killie is the brother of the Sissiko who played for Liverpool.

Signed from Udinese - serie A - so probably good enough.

Mixu doing a great job wheeling and dealing.........

An unpopular board will also take the heat of Mixu for some time coming. This will allow him time in the uphill battle.

The thing about uphill battles is that often for every step or two forward, you take one back, which makes people impatient. But Mixu may just have the scenario that will deflet criticism away from him, and allow him to get on with the job of getting Killie up that table, which is a task in which he will make mistakes carrying out.

He'll do well.
