View Full Version : Worst case scenario - more ex Falkirk signings!

Interesting that despite being linked with Motherwell, Kilmarnock and St Mirren Alan Gow has still not signed for anyone. And there are rumours on the boards of Daryl Duffy coming in. Surely Yogi has more options than going back to ex Falkirk players who now have lost their way elsewhere.

Worst case scenario - Stokes out and these two in!!

would be willing to give murphy a chance but wouldn't be excited by that signing.

Gow can bolt. He is a lightweight, injury prone charlatan with the footballing brain of Alan o'brien!

Expect Hughes to call his signing "A real coup" (Or "Cupe") when he inevitably signs... There were lots of others interested but "Chipper kept in regular contact and it paid off".

bit concerning that Duffy can't get a game for a Bristol Rovers side that is consistently in the bottom 10 in English Div 1 (old school 3rd division)

and lightweight injury prone Gow was emptied by a team in the same Division

Duffy and Gow probably safe bets to come in over the next 24 hours.

Apologies if i've missed it but has it actually been confirmed we're after him?

Yogi got a lot of stick for being interested in Burton O'brien despite it not being true and it looks to me like the same thing could be happening here.

BTW as it stands, Gow has also been binned by us

Grade "A" signings. Just wait until Hughes sprinkles his gold dust they'll be A+.

:cool2:

Utterly underwhelming signing. First Division player who's a fringe player at a poor League One side.

Yipee:rolleyes:

Looks like Gow is off to join O'Brien at Swindon

Best case scenario is that there are no former Falkirk players left to sign :greengrin – its got to happen sooner or [hopefully not too much] later. :agree:

I might save some cash and go and watch actual Falkirk. It's cheaper than watching a ripoff Falkirk Reunited XI

The ex-Falkirk players we've signed haven't been that bad.

Stokes - top scorer and will bring £1.2M to the club.
McBride - Good enough for our first team.
Cregg - Ok he wasn't great but was hardly a disaster and we got him off the wage bill quickly when it was obvious it wasn't working.

Tut Tut - lets not let the boring old facts get in the way of a good story now !!

We've surely sold the electric lights to Celtc and replaced them with candles by now?

Can we sign an ex-Falkirk player as manager? Alex Ferguson?
