If it had been Hogg the ball would have sailed over Laugherty's head and if it had been Nish it would have hit someone else

Hogg could certainly have hit Laugherty, most of what leaves his feet find the opposition.

I take it from now on it will be deemed violent conduct when kicking the ball off an opponent for a corner, which happens in most matches. Will this now be a sending off offence ?
