That tackle on Miller was the best I've seen from a Hibs player since David Murphy's on the same player in the 2-2 Celtic game in 2007. He was immense.

Don't know what we'll do when he eventually leaves us. Brilliant tackle in the second half.

Looks so much more composed now. He's cut out the silly mistakes and improved massively. 10/10 for him today.

:agree: Particularly if he does so in the next week or so.

I hope we wouldn't be daft enough to sell him this week. I'd be surprised if we did now.

:agree: absolutely top drawer and worthy of the standing ovation it got.

Still dont understand the folk that label bamba a bombscare

That tackle was just perfect, it's hard to put it in to words.

I'd like to see more of the players taking that leaf out of his book. Though, i'd say Galbraiths tackle towards the end on the west side where he slid in, got the ball, stood up turning and ran off with it was pretty good too.

Get the laddie Stephens in ASAP so he has a chance to learn and progress cos if he left with Hogg as a partner he's ****ed..

why why when we have a thread saying how well Bamba played - which he did - do others feel the need to slag Hogg ...particularly when he played well today

lets just be pleased that for a long period we looked solid at the back from keeper through back 4 until circumstances kicked us in the nads....

if we play as we did first 60 mins regularly we will be fine...particularly if we can keep who we have from starting 11 and add a couple

Top, top performance from Sol, makes such a difference when he is on his game and in the right mood.

Bamba was - once again - class today. Hogg - with the obvious exception of his shambolic attempt at a o/side trap for the 3rd - was greatly improved this week.

he wisnae happy when yogi put galbraith at lb though. obviously couldnae hear the big man but it looked as if he was asking danny why he was there. galbraith shrugged his shoulders as if to say no idea and bamba was gesturing to yogi like wtf?

the tackle when miller was through was world class. great game

I think you must have been watching a different game to me.

A bit miffed at those threads praising our players. It just gives them ideas above their station. Let's have more of those confidence-shattering Nish, Hogg and Rankin threads, we never seem to get enough of those.

He just never looks the punt the ball, always picks out a simple pass. Which is great. My only worry is do we have players on the same wavelength as him, i.e. Hogg will just punt it, half of the midfielders let the ball bounce off them or turn incorrectly. Which is why, unfortunately, he will fit in better at a higher level.

the big man is destined to move to a good level, he's outstanding and is wasted in a Hibs jersey, sadly.
Being part of his national team has obviously really rubbed off on him. Some player.
We'll badly miss him.

He was immense, pace and strength, seems very focused on doing a job for Hibs at the moment which is great.

Watched his reaction to our 1st goal at Fir Park as well and he seems well up for it at the moment.
