Thanks mate, I tried to decipher them from this clip shot at Dunfermline Alhambra this year, but then I can only understand half of what Fifers say anyway.
Skids play for their mums and dads up the toon. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52LdbGavDso)

That's not the SKids that's a tribute band and they've added in a few modern TV stars like Simon Cowell. Here's the original:

Thanks for the lyrics, I don't think it's a tribute band though, the "Skids" (obviously minus at least one member) played at the Alhambra in March. There was even a double page spread in the Dunfermline Press with interviews with their parents etc.
I think that looks like an original bit of stage set in the background (Days in Europa, or the Absolute Game I would say), and you can hear Ricky saying "I wrote this song 30 years ago". There's also extra bits about Stanley's Shammy and Benny's Hat - which won't mean anything to people born after 1970.
Re. the Ken Baines bit, I'm not sure there was a Radio Forth DJ at the time called Ken Haines - it's probably a long shot to think it was him though.

I stand corrected - that's Jobson right enough.

Was it the lantern jaw that gave the game away?
