Well, to be named at least. :greengrin

Irvine Welsh is offering the unique chance to be named in his new novel, 'Skagboys', the prequel to 'Trainspotting' which will hit the shelves in 2012.

The opportunity to be immortalised and become part of the storyline is up for grabs in order to raise money for a children's charity. Scottish Love in Action (SLA) cares for destitute children in India and is running the competition as well as putting on a special screening of 'Trainspotting' including a Q&A with Irvine Welsh on the 1st September 2010 in Edinburgh.

Help the children of SLA by spreading the word to all your friends and entering the competition and/or booking tickets for the exclusive screening at www.sla-india.org.

I was the dubious recipient of a passing reference in 'Crime'. Should have asked for royalties...:boo hoo:

In a more serious vein, great idea, should be a winner.

Good point. I intend making multiple entries under the name George Foulkes.

Great idea.

Can't wait for 'Skagboys'. Read everything else Irvine Welsh has to offer at the moment and always thought a prequel to 'Trainspotting' was appropraite.
