One of the true greats of the game too - he'll forever be remembered for THAT home run which won the Giants the pennant against the Dodgers - perhaps one of the most famous seasonal victories of all time!

They had a nice feature on him yesterday during the Rangers @ Tampa Bay game on ESPN last night.

That's a fantastic clip. It's one of those rare times when something happens in a sport that transcends the sport itself. You don't have to be a baseball fan to get caught up in the sheer emotional magnitude of that moment. Wonderful, truly wonderful.
