Apologies if mentioned elsewhere...

What does everyone think of this kind of initiative? Obviously the scale is somewhat different from our own situation but more wondering what people's thoughts were on the idea itself?

Good idea but i think Hibs are already quite good at involving the fans when things are being changed, (East Stand and fans forums for example)

A share in Hibs is only £50 aswell. Not £1000.

Is that correct? If so I'll willingly listen to bids for my Hibs shares, starting at £40 per share. (I will hold on to one share so that I can continue to attend the AGM and get the same benefits as Arsenal fans)

Groundbreaking??

I really don't see what is news worthy here...most clubs allow their supports to by shares in them, Hibs have done so for a long time. They are not proposing any long term dynamic to fan based ownership or the like so I am totally underwhelmed by this and would have thought a stright forward share split would have been a much easier way of allowing 'normal' fans to afford a share holding in the club than this dressed up nothing...
