Hibernian 2 (Stokes- asst Riordan, Riordan- asst De Graaf)
Rangers 2 (Beattie- asst Brines, Lafferty- asst Brines)

A 0-0 draw. Rangers will play for a point and Hibs will find it tough to break down a packed defence, with 11 men behind the ball circa Tommy McLean at Motherwell 1989.

If we can stop miller scoring, then were in with a chance
2-1to hibs stokes& deeks
the Huns are normally slow starters, so hopefully
we can rattle em, would settle for us being undefeated by the end of the game

Hainan Hibs
18-08-2010, 01:18 PM
Hibs 2 - 3 Rangers.

I can see Stokes and Deeko both scoring but Rangers will rule the midfield and Hogg will impersonate a CB once again at the back.

1-2 Hibs tear into Rangers from the start scoring a fine goal as Riordans' cross shot is parried by the keeper and McBride crashes it home.

Hibs spurn several good chances before half-time and should have been awarded a pen just on the break as a clear hand ball in the box goes unpunished.

Rangers make some telling substitutions in a tight second half and equalise from a free kick. Hibs tired defence is posted missing towards the end and the Huns win with a close-in header.

don't know what makes you think that. rangers still have a very good team even if the squad is a bit threadbare and will leave easter road with a point at the very least.

A depressing, yet scarily plausible scenario.

2-1 Hibs, De Graaf and Deeko.

More interestingly i predict heavy showers in the away end, prompting a flurry of palmolive bars to be thrown with great vigour into the crowd of union flag waving unwashed clarty bar stewards. we can all then watch as they disintegrate and melt a la the wicked witch from the west!

I would like to think we can get a draw 1-1, which coupled with a win over Motherwell would be a brilliant start to the season.

In an ideal world Chuckie, I'd agree. :greengrin

I'm no saying we cannot beat that mob of rancid bigots, of course we can, far worse Hibs teams have beaten far better Hun teams, but if truth be told, I would be happy with a draw tomorrow. :agree:

I'll never ever be happy for Hibs to just draw with anyone at Easter Road...
I demand victory and expect it...
