Man Utd seem to be unable to sign any top drawer players nowadays. Real Madrid appear to be going down the Man City route. At the end of the day they need 11 players on the park to excel, if they fail to do that then it's curtains. The other 25 players on the sidelines and big transfer fees mean nothing.

With him being left footed he would have been perfect to play on the left for Man Utd and have Valencia on the right and Nani as back up for either of them. Man Utd PR team have to do some to improve the image. All the stories about fans hating owners and mounting debts will be the clubs downfall.

Great team on paper but the midfield would be to light weight and they would lose a good few games in la liga. Would be great to watch though.

I realy dont understand real madrid.

They sign one of spains brightest young players in sergio canales and now he is 4th choice in attacking midfield.

There realy is no future for there club(without spending 200m every few years) unless they give young players a chance like barca have

Absolute bargain! Shows how inconsistent transfer fees are. Ozil was one of the stand out players at world cup. Yet Lescott goes for £20 Million and isn't even in the same continent as world cup! Barcelona will still do a treble again though!
