Section 42

Right.. just to make sure there's going to be an atmosphere in section 42 this year which i'm hoping so, who is in this section that will definitely be singing and who will be standing the whole game also?

I'll be surprised if you'll be standing unfortunately mate. Yep the majority who were in the old East will probably try to stand, there may however be a fair few migrating from the West and FF who don't stand and don't wish to stand.


At the Maribor game there were loads of us standing in the South and there was no attempts were made at all by either the stewards or polis to get us sitting, so here's hoping they'll be as lenient when we take up residence in the new East!! I'm in the 3rd section from the South, 43 I think it is? I hope it's as good as the old 42 was for games against the OF and Hearts.

Other singing sections seem to congregate where the acoustics are best i.e. towards the top or back of the stands

From some other threads it appears we have some singers already there - letters AA up to JJ - top ten rows

Are you guys up there? Obviously - you can start a song anywhere, but you need a group of like-minded souls to join in. Are you sitting with a group of mates?

Looks like the middle of the stand (Section 41) is pretty full.

My guess is that rather than sections 42-45 (earmarked by Hibs FC) being the choir, the main singing is likely to come from Sections 41 across to 43 - from the half-way-line to the 18-yard box of the South half of the pitch

I think Hibs management anticipate a degree of seat-moving once we are all in there. Some folk may with to move into or away from the main singing section

I can't remember what row i'm in actually, i think it might be row Y, we'll need to see how the Rangers game goes then we'll have a rougher idea of where exactly the singing and standing is going to happen.
