Just watching and the crowd is pathetic given its a lovely day and how close the clubs are and its first game of the season:bitchy:
Should mention that Blackpool crowd section is very good

Ah but it's only 20+ miles away.

I think they can forget about avoiding relegation this season if they carry on like this.:greengrin

Still took 4000 in a 16000 crowd. home crowd of 12000 in the preniership is pretty poor at the beginning of a season. 4-0 top of the league, great day out for them, like a good underdog story!:agree:

Didn't know it was that many so well done to Blackpool fans although to be fair it's close by and first away game in the EPL so you would expect a good travelling support.
I'm predicting Blackpool, Wigan and West Brom to go down.:agree:
Somebody was watching Football Focus earlier on today.
Both pundits opted for those three teams for the drop.

To be fair, Wigan were a non-League club playing to crowds of 1,000 not long ago and are based in the most Rugby oriented town in the country.
They are surrounded by more established Premiership teams: City, United, Bolton, Liverpool, Everton, and Blackburn.
12,000 isn't bad all in all.

Blackpools record signing was Charlie Adam at £500k. Proof, if any were needed, that you dont need a big budget to build a good team.

I read the mirror and most of the 'pundits' put them 3 teams down. I still think its nailed on they will be the three down :agree::agree:
