If I hadnt other commitments I would have gone. I've a mate who plays for Boghall and Bathgate. The sound is fantastic

It was announced that they were 3rd, being level in points with SFU but having the better MSR result. However, the rule is that it should be based on ensemble preference, where SFU had the better marks. Therefore SFU were 3rd and the Boggies were 4th (which is still very good - they've had a cracking season).

I'm delighted for St Laurence though. They've been one of my favourite bands for years and are a great crew. Musically they leave the rest standing IMHO.

The BBC coverage was superb (for the 2nd year running) and, purely in terms of watching and listening to the performances, is miles better than being there.

No beer tent though! :boo hoo:

my friend is a marketing organiser for this, and its quite an undertaking! A great boon for the economy as well.
